Police Investigates Saif Ali Khan Attack: Woman’s Aadhar Card Used to Buy SIM by Accused

In a significant development in the case involving actor Saif Ali Khan's recent attack, Mumbai Police have revealed that the accused used the Aadhar card of a woman from West Bengal to purchase a SIM card. Authorities traveled to West Bengal to record statements from key individuals related to the case.
The initial statement was recorded from a woman whose Aadhar card was fraudulently used by the accused. The police later also interviewed a relative of the accused residing in West Bengal, who helped the assailant obtain the woman's Aadhar card, which was subsequently used to buy the SIM card.
Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis addressed the media, reassuring the public that the police were handling the investigation efficiently. He emphasized that all relevant information has been gathered, and the case is progressing toward its logical conclusion. Fadnavis further stated that the Commissioner of Police would provide additional details to the media soon.
In parallel, Mumbai Police have seized blood samples and clothing from actor Saif Ali Khan as part of the investigation into the attack at his residence. Earlier this month, Khan was assaulted by an intruder, identified as Mohd Shariful Islam Shehzad, who had broken into the actor’s home with intentions of theft. During a violent altercation, Khan suffered multiple stab wounds, including injuries to his thoracic spine, and was immediately hospitalized at Lilavati Hospital.
